About the Role

SPIMACO is seeking a GL & Assets Management Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves applying specialized financial expertise to support strategic objectives and ensure the integrity of general ledger and asset management processes within the organization.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to leverage specialized skills to bolster departmental and organizational objectives. The Specialist will engage in strategic projects, imparting expertise to foster innovation and effectiveness in financial operations, particularly concerning general ledger and asset management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger and asset management processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all records.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly.
• Collaborate with various departments on asset management activities.
• Provide support in the preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain accurate records of assets and general ledger transactions.
• Assist in developing general ledger and asset management strategies.
• Implement improvements in general ledger and asset processes.
• Report on general ledger and asset management activities and their alignment with strategic goals.
• Participate in training initiatives to enhance expertise in general ledger and asset management.

Collaboration and Professional Engagement

This role involves significant internal and external interactions to foster professional growth and contribute to the field. Internally, the Specialist will engage in knowledge sharing sessions, peer collaboration on projects, mentorship programs, and discussions related to research and development. Externally, participation includes attending industry conferences and seminars, involvement in professional associations, contributing to industry publications, and engaging in client consultations to provide expert advice and solutions.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in general ledger and asset management.
