The Role of Hostess

Accor is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Hostess to join its hospitality team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role serves as the initial point of contact for guests, focusing on creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth dining experiences. The position requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to guest service, and adherence to brand standards, contributing directly to the restaurant's operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests with professionalism, setting a positive tone for their dining experience.
• Manage guest seating, table allocations, and dining flow efficiently based on reservations and walk-ins.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menus, special events, seating arrangements, and guest preferences.
• Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations and timely guest accommodations.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with empathy, escalating issues when necessary.
• Manage reservation systems accurately, including guest details, seating plans, and preference notes.
• Confirm reservation information and communicate updates promptly to relevant team members.
• Answer phone calls professionally, assisting guests with inquiries, bookings, and special requests.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting host stand and reception area throughout all service periods.
• Perform side duties such as menu preparation, table resets, and entrance area maintenance.
• Uphold all health, safety, hygiene, and company service standards consistently.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment through effective communication and mutual support.
• Remain calm, attentive, and organized during busy service periods while managing multiple priorities.

• 0-1 year of experience in a relevant hospitality role.
