HSE Supervisor

About the Role

Cummins Arabia is seeking an HSE Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves promoting health, safety, and environmental awareness and applying technical knowledge to design, implement, and manage HSE engineering controls within the site. The HSE Supervisor will provide cross-functional support to ensure compliance with internal Cummins requirements, applicable HSE regulations, and industry standards. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices.
• Develop basic hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs.
• Administer and communicate hazard control programs effectively.
• Interpret and apply internal and external standards to support hazard reduction and compliance.
• Support HSE compliance with Saudi Arabian environmental and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Maintain ISO HSE standard requirements and meet customer HSE requirements.
• Manage contractor safety and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

• Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA): Ability to evaluate hazards, analyze and prioritize risk, and select appropriate control measures.
• Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems: Proficiency in interpreting and applying international standards for effective management systems and external certification.
• Health, Safety and Environment Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: Skill in conducting quality, evidence-based investigations, accurate root cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Health and Safety Fundamentals: Demonstrated ability to champion proactive health and safety behaviors and contribute to an injury-free workplace.
• Ergonomic Fundamentals: Understanding and application of ergonomic concepts, standards, guidelines, and tools to reduce risk.
• Implementation of Risk Controls: Capability to select and implement sustainable risk control methods using the hierarchy of controls.
• Ergonomics Process and Workplace Design: Experience in designing or adapting processes and workstations with ergonomic controls.
• Management of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulatory Compliance: Ability to identify, interpret, and manage legal and other requirements, including monitoring and reporting operational performance.
• Industrial Hygiene Management: Skill in designing and executing industrial hygiene programs, managing workplace exposure risks, and implementing controls.
