About the Role

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Networks Delivery & Testing Expert to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading work activities autonomously towards long-term objectives and providing expert guidance for operational activities related to IT infrastructure and networks.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this position is to provide expert support during the development of ZATCA's IT Infrastructure and networks delivery guidelines and standards. The expert will supervise project development, support project delivery, and offer recommendations for testing activities related to infrastructure and networks. This role also includes reviewing and validating implementation documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture the current ZATCA IT Infrastructure and Networks delivery framework, conduct benchmarks and research on new IT delivery trends and standards, and develop ZATCA IT Infrastructure and Networks delivery guidelines and standards.
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders, consolidate and analyze business requirements, and develop comprehensive IT infrastructure & networks project plans (planning, execution, monitoring, closing).
• Align with all IT Infrastructure and networks project stakeholders, manage the implementation of IT Infrastructure and networks solutions (software, hardware, servers' installation, backup, datacenter, disaster recovery), and document all project information and lessons learned.
• Align with all IT Infrastructure and networks stakeholders, manage the installation of Infrastructure and networks components such as routers, switches, load balancers, etc., and document the completed changes.
• Participate in the testing and validation of infrastructure and networks components, detect and report any issues to find appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to agree on corrective action plans, implement needed actions, and coordinate retesting and revalidation processes to ensure effectiveness.
• Follow all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team members to ensure work is carried out efficiently.
• Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly.
• Train junior staff on different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable.
• Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/junior staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field is required.
• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working autonomously with minor direction towards predetermined long-term objectives, often acting as an internal consultant and facilitator.
