The Role: IT Security Specialist

Geidea is seeking an IT Security Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The primary purpose of this full-time role is to establish a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for the organization. This involves designing and implementing robust security measures and continuously evaluating new security technologies to protect our computer systems, networks, and data.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate security technologies and tools.
Manage and respond to all security incidents effectively.
Contribute to IT risk identification, classification, and response processes.
Support the enterprise risk management process as needed.
Perform technical security project implementations and ensure project deadlines are met.
Manage user access and permissions to systems and data.
Research and stay informed on current security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to information systems.
Configure and maintain various security systems, including AV/EDR/FIM/NDR/DLP/DC/Email Security.
Provide support during InfoSec audits (Internal, External, PCI, and SAMA).
