About the Role

Keeta is seeking a qualified and experienced Lead Counsel to join its legal team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting business lines across various GCC countries, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, handling corporate, advisory, contract, and dispute resolution matters. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive legal advice and support on transactions and commercial matters.
Identify and assess legal risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Collaborate closely with management and business units to ensure legal requirements are met.
Support business units in communicating with relevant authorities, associations, and other external stakeholders to maintain a business-friendly regulatory environment across the GCC region.
Represent the company in litigation, other legal proceedings, and negotiations.
Stay informed about changes in the legal landscape and industry trends.
Develop and maintain a high-quality resource pool of external law firms and foster strong relationships with external legal advisors and partners.
Undertake business trips to Bahrain and other GCC countries as needed.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant legal role, demonstrating a strong understanding of corporate, advisory, contract, and dispute resolution matters within the GCC context, particularly in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
