The Legal Specialist Role

Bin Omairah is seeking a Legal Specialist to join its Legal Affairs Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on conducting internal investigations related to legal, ethical, compliance, and misconduct matters throughout the organization. The specialist will support the Legal Department by gathering evidence, interviewing involved parties, preparing investigation reports, and ensuring adherence to Saudi laws, company policies, and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal investigations into misconduct, fraud, corruption, ethical violations, and contractual breaches.
• Gather, review, and analyze documentary, electronic, and physical evidence.
• Interview employees, contractors, suppliers, and witnesses to establish investigation findings.
• Prepare comprehensive investigation reports with evidence-based recommendations and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Support litigation by preparing legal files and coordinating with external legal counsel.
• Investigate construction-related disputes involving contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, and project execution.
• Review disciplinary actions to ensure compliance with Saudi Labour Law and company policies.
• Identify legal and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Support whistle-blowing and ethics investigations and assist in developing legal investigation procedures and compliance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi laws, corporate governance standards, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain investigation records, legal documentation, and monitor the implementation of investigation recommendations.
• Prepare executive reports and legal case summaries.
• Support dispute resolution and settlement negotiations, and promote legal awareness and compliance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant legal role.
• Previous experience in legal consulting or law firms is essential.
• Strong understanding of Saudi legal procedures.
• Proficiency in Saudi employment regulations and commercial law.
• Demonstrated understanding of construction-related disputes.

Reporting and Collaboration

The Legal Specialist operates within the Legal Affairs Department and coordinates extensively with various internal departments, including HR, Internal Audit, Procurement, Commercial, QHSE, and Project teams. External interactions involve engagement with the Governmental Sector to resolve legal issues and minimize operational risks.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is integral to supporting Bin Omairah's legal and compliance framework across its diverse operations in infrastructure solutions, real estate, and renewable technologies.
