Logistics & Transportation Manager

About the Role

Globe Alliance Company (GAC) is seeking a Logistics & Transportation Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing all aspects of logistics, transportation, fleet coordination, and material distribution to support operational sites and client locations.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective movement of project resources. The manager will be responsible for optimizing logistics processes to enhance efficiency across various operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage transportation schedules, delivery operations, and fleet utilization.
• Control logistics costs and address multi-site requirements effectively.
• Coordinate deliveries of construction materials, equipment, maintenance supplies, and operational consumables.
• Collaborate with internal departments including Procurement, Sourcing, Warehouse, Operations, Project Management, and site teams.
• Oversee transport vendors, drivers, and fleet service providers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage all necessary documentation.
• Lead team activities and provide regular reporting on logistics performance.
• Implement strategies to improve delivery efficiency and support construction and facility management operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in logistics and transportation management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex logistics operations and fleet coordination.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on supporting various operational sites and client locations through effective logistics and transportation management.
