About the Role

Red Sea Global is seeking a Manager - Bus Driver Scheduling to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient provision of transportation services for guests and employees. The role is integral to building and maintaining robust Land Mobility operations, emphasizing consistency in guest experience and operational efficiency.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to plan and manage transportation services, including buses, fleet vehicles, and buggies, to ensure safe journeys with minimal delays. The Manager will coordinate overall transportation for the Mobility division, focusing on business continuity for guests and employees. This includes acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to manage mobility expectations and ensure alignment with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily operations, taking timely corrective actions for scheduled or unscheduled trip changes and cancellations.
  • Manage service providers to ensure performance standards and contractual agreements are met.
  • Plan and schedule vehicle routes, adjusting transport timings as necessary to maintain service continuity.
  • Manage and supervise a team of specialists, drivers, and coordinators.
  • Ensure prompt investigation and reporting of accidents or incidents.
  • Approve manpower and fleet availability for trips to ensure cost efficiency and business continuity.
  • Address feedback, complaints, and queries from stakeholders to ensure efficient and safe transport services.
  • Conduct monthly audits of driver and fleet utilization to mitigate risks and non-compliance, escalating findings as needed.
  • Brief the Senior Manager on daily operations and provide monitoring reports for necessary changes.
  • Communicate and coordinate transportation standards and expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to address SLA non-performance or non-compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance team to ensure fleet upkeep according to manufacturer recommendations, contributing to efficient operations and positive guest experience.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 10 years of industry experience, with proven expertise in the automotive or transportation sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with intermediate skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
