About the Role

GDC Middle East (الشركة السعودية لتهيئة وصيانة الطائرات) is seeking an MD530 General Mechanic (A&P) to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves performing comprehensive maintenance and support tasks for MD-500 series aircraft, ensuring strict compliance with technical publications and established procedures.

Key Duties and Tasks

• Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components, including engines, rotors, transmissions, and flight controls.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled services on aircraft, subassemblies, components, and aerospace ground support equipment.
• Assist in preparing aircraft for inspections and services.
• Accomplish operator maintenance on ground equipment, test sets, and special tools.
• Solve moderate technical problems by conducting analysis using manufacturer technical documentation.
• Utilize available online manuals and industry-standardized documentation to access critical information for services.
• Coordinate with supply personnel to order and receive parts according to work order instructions.
• Perform other support tasks as assigned by the Facility Maintenance Manager.

Maintenance Compliance and Quality

• Ensure all maintenance functions on MD-500 series aircraft adhere to current applicable technical publications and established procedures.
• Maintain compliance with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures, and reporting mechanisms to provide immediate situational awareness of platform operational readiness (OR) rates.
• Oversee the daily maintenance of individually assigned aircraft.
• Operate within defined maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
• Respond to inquiries, investigations, and research analyses related to MD-500 series aircraft aviation maintenance and supporting activities.

Training and Operational Support

• Manage individual general maintenance training, job book currency, and qualifications for assigned Customer maintenance personnel.
• Execute activities and requirements for maintenance operations support, coordinating through the Maintenance Manager or lead mechanic as needed.
• Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance training activities through the lead mechanic.
• Contribute to a professional development program supporting Saudization-localization initiatives.
• Undertake other duties as assigned and/or directed by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Aviation Maintenance Technician (A&P) certification is required.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, specifically with MD-500 series aircraft, is essential.
