About the Role

Amazon is seeking an Operations Supervisor AMET Operations to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading and motivating a team to achieve productivity targets and operational goals. The supervisor will be responsible for tracking team performance, managing workflow, and collaborating with the Shift Manager to resolve issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily management support for departmental duties.
• Assign work to associates as needed to support workflow and daily production KPIs/goals.
• Conduct standup briefs, deliver associate feedback, and perform floor audits and vehicle inspections.
• Support the training and up-skilling of new associates.
• Assist with tracking, trending, and reporting of departmental metrics.
• Support the analysis and understanding of factors contributing to success or failure in meeting departmental delivery and FC KPIs/goals.
• Track, report, and maintain associate hours and schedules.
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents as required.
• Identify and address safety hazards within the workplace and participate in safety initiatives.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of workflow, daily production goals, and associate attendance.

Operational Expectations and Leadership

The Operations Supervisor is expected to lead by example, serving as a role model for safe work behaviors and consistently meeting or exceeding departmental production KPIs/goals. This role requires the ability to coach and mentor team members to foster their success. Candidates must be capable of managing multiple tasks, both long and short term, within a high-stress, fast-paced operational environment.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Capable of lifting up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Commitment to working 40 hours per week, with availability for overtime as required.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules/shifts, including night shifts.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that demands adaptability and resilience. The role requires a commitment to flexible scheduling, including working weekends, nights, and holidays, and providing overtime support for both AM and PM shifts. Physical demands include prolonged standing and walking, as well as regular lifting and movement of objects.
