About Penta Consulting and the Role

Penta Consulting, a technology resource solutions provider to leading OEMs across the EMEA region, is seeking a Program Manager. This contract position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on leading the delivery of large-scale Data Center projects and programs.

Role Summary

This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving successful project outcomes, maintaining robust governance and controls, and effectively managing stakeholder relationships. The Program Manager will ensure transparency of program performance, oversee project health, identify delivery gaps, and present progress and performance to executive stakeholders and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the successful delivery of complex Data Center programs from initiation through to completion.
• Provide strategic oversight across multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring alignment with project objectives, customer expectations, and business goals.
• Establish and maintain program governance, controls, processes, and reporting frameworks.
• Develop, maintain, and govern program reporting structures and dashboards, monitoring performance against schedule, budget, scope, quality, and risk metrics.
• Act as the primary customer-facing representative for program delivery activities, building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Lead program reviews, steering committee meetings, and governance forums, presenting project progress, achievements, challenges, and recovery plans.
• Establish robust risk and issue management processes, conducting regular project health assessments, identifying delivery gaps, and driving corrective actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, including engineering, construction, operations, commissioning, and support functions.
• Monitor program budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring effective management of contracts, variations, and change requests.

Program Controls and Reporting

The role involves identifying project gaps, risks, issues, and dependencies early, proactively driving mitigation plans. This includes reviewing project data, analyzing trends, and providing clear recommendations to stakeholders. Ensuring accurate forecasting of budgets, resources, milestones, and delivery timelines, along with tracking program KPIs and providing regular executive-level reporting, is essential.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, with a strong background in Data Center environments. This role requires exceptional program management, reporting, risk management, and client-facing skills. Candidates must combine technical credibility, commercial awareness, and executive-level communication skills to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Program Manager will support project managers and technical leads to ensure consistent delivery standards and foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
