About the Project Support Specialist Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is seeking a Project Support Specialist to join its Amazon Now Operations team in Riyadh. This full-time position supports a key initiative focused on enhancing e-commerce capabilities across the MENA region. The role requires a detail-oriented individual to contribute to the success of innovative business models.

Role Context and Contribution

The Project Support Specialist will contribute to the 1P Stores initiative, which aims to enhance fast delivery services. This position integrates operational excellence with project support functions to facilitate successful store launches and ongoing operations. The specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining project momentum and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor store launch programs through systematic site visits.
• Maintain and update comprehensive project checklists.
• Manage non-inventory stock using Coupa, Amazon's purchasing system.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Identify and escalate potential risks and concerns related to projects and operations.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
• Support the development and execution of new business models.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• 2+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or customer-facing environment.
• Experience in inventory management or retail operations is preferred.
