The Role

Syarah is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires an individual with extensive experience in acquiring vehicles directly from individuals, focusing on competitive pricing and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the company's vehicle inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and respond to requests from customers interested in selling their vehicles.
• Coordinate with the inspection team to arrange and conduct vehicle inspections at customer locations.
• Assess vehicle condition, determine market value, and establish negotiation parameters to set purchase prices.
• Negotiate with customers to achieve fair and competitive purchase agreements.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation and paperwork for vehicle purchase transactions.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of purchased vehicles, including relevant details and transaction history.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine purchasing strategies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth integration of acquired vehicles into inventory.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide regular reports and updates to management on purchasing activities and performance metrics.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in vehicle purchasing, specifically from individual sellers.
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving competitive pricing.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Familiarity with vehicle market values and assessment techniques.
• Ability to manage documentation and ensure compliance.
• Experience level: 2-5 years in a relevant purchasing role.
