About the Role

Nesma Infrastructure & Technology is seeking a Quality Civil Engineer Substations V to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring civil installations and related construction activities comply with engineering drawings, project specifications, quality requirements, and industry standards.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to perform independent compliance verification throughout project execution and prior to client acceptance. This involves ensuring all civil works meet approved standards and specifications for substations, transmission systems, and associated infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct compliance inspections of civil works for substations, transmission systems, and related infrastructure.
Verify completed installations following Quality Control (QC) inspections and before client inspections.
Confirm adherence to approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and industry standards.
Identify discrepancies in design, specifications, and field implementation.
Validate installation quality and compliance with project technical standards.
Report technical deviations, incomplete scope, and material shortages.
Prepare compliance reports, observations, and recommendations for corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and verifications.
Monitor the closure of identified compliance findings.
Coordinate with project engineering, construction, quality, and client teams.
Participate in audits, reviews, and handover readiness assessments.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the infrastructure and technology sector. The role involves collaboration with various project stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance.
