About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Radiology Technique Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for performing diagnostic radiographs and ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of radiology equipment and processes. The specialist will be responsible for handling radiology requests, reports, and x-ray films, while strictly adhering to all applicable clinic rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures by accurately positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and setting equipment controls for appropriate exposure factors.
• Ensure patient cooperation by effectively communicating treatment explanations, addressing concerns, and answering questions to reduce anxiety.
• Minimize radiation exposure for both patients and staff through the consistent application of radiation protection techniques, including the use of beam restrictive devices and patient shielding, alongside a thorough understanding of exposure factors.
• Maintain the quality and production of radiographs by following established standards and procedures, developing radiographs, observing results, and making necessary adjustments.

Equipment Management and Compliance

This role involves the daily maintenance of x-ray equipment and rooms, as well as the daily upkeep of x-ray film processors. The specialist is also responsible for the comprehensive processing of radiology requests, radiology reports, and x-ray films, ensuring all tasks are performed with precision and in full compliance with clinical standards. Adherence to infection-control policies is paramount to protect both patients and employees.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all relevant procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience in radiology techniques.

Work Environment Details

• The work is conducted 100% indoors.
• The work schedule is 6 days per week, with 1 day off per week.
• Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of department.
