About Misk Schools and the Opportunity

Misk Schools is seeking a dedicated Recruitment Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to supporting the school's talent acquisition efforts and ensuring a smooth recruitment and onboarding experience for new hires.

Role Overview

The Recruitment Officer will manage the full recruitment cycle, from initial sourcing to onboarding, working closely with and supported by the Talent Acquisition Manager. This role involves building strong candidate pipelines, providing a positive candidate experience, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations throughout the process.

Core Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a candidate database, developing talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
• Organize employment requisitions and manage job advertising and postings for open positions.
• Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and employee referrals.
• Review and assess candidates' suitability for required posts, conducting phone screens to gather essential information such as education, experience, training, job skills, and salary expectations.
• Provide a positive candidate experience and act as a Misk Schools ambassador.
• Schedule interviews, manage calendars for hiring teams and candidates, and greet onsite interviewees.
• Conduct sociometric hiring tests and coordinate hiring activities with internal and external clients.
• Provide post-interview information to hiring managers and prepare pre-employment and new hire paperwork for processing.
• Follow safer recruitment practices and ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the recruitment process.
• Follow up with government relations regarding visa requirements for international hires.
• Conduct new hire onboarding, including preparing induction employee profiles and delivering orientation programs, as needed.
• Track and update recruitment activity status in weekly reports for the Recruitment team and relevant departments.
• Maintain partnerships with all departments to understand their business and recruitment needs, and collaborate with recruitment agencies.
• Maintain calendars for the Recruitment team and work flexibly according to organizational needs.

Required Experience and Skills

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a recruitment role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a full recruitment cycle.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in various sourcing methods and candidate assessment techniques.
• Understanding of employment laws, regulations, and safer recruitment practices.

The successful candidate will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, adhering strictly to the school’s safeguarding policies and staff code of conduct. This role directly supports the Designated Safeguarding Lead as a priority to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students at Misk Schools.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Recruitment Officer will work as a collaborative team member across the organization, maintaining a stakeholder-focused approach in all activities and fostering strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
