Role Overview

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Risk Manager Saudi National to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role reports directly to the Project Director and is central to developing, implementing, and managing the program risk management plan for a significant infrastructure project.

About the Project

The project involves a major infrastructure program for a mixed-use development in Riyadh. This development aims to establish a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination, creating a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh with several iconic assets. KBR provides Project Management Consultancy services, encompassing project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and the implementation of development and early works packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop risk management standards, policies, and procedures.
• Establish and manage the program risk management plan.
• Coordinate with the program management team, consultants, and contractors on all aspects of risk management.
• Run and facilitate risk management workshops.
• Maintain and analyze the risk register.
• Facilitate the development, implementation, and tracking of mitigation actions.
• Provide monthly and weekly reports.
• Prepare and deliver presentations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of overall relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in risk management roles on projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of regional experience.
• Required professional memberships and charterships (MIRM or equivalent).
• Excellent knowledge of risk management techniques.
• Sound knowledge of all engineering and commercial aspects of major civil infrastructure projects.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Ability to effectively identify, analyze, and recommend risk mitigation actions.
• Experienced user of MS Office and risk management software.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in planning and organizing tasks.
• Ability to work effectively at all levels within an organization.

• Strong customer focus.
