SAP Basis Technical Consultant

About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Technical Consultant to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and focuses on ensuring the stability and performance of SAP systems.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of SAP systems. This is achieved through effective Basis administration, continuous monitoring, proactive troubleshooting, system upgrades, and comprehensive technical support across all SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems.
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance.
• Manage SAP instances, profiles, parameters, and services.
• Perform regular system checks and troubleshooting.
• Support Development (DEV), Quality Assurance (QA), and Production (PRD) environments.

Required Skills and Experience

• Configure and manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS).
• Manage transports across DEV, QA, and PRD environments.
• Perform SAP kernel upgrades and patching.
• Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and system refreshes.
• Ensure proper change and release management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in HR processes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on quality.
• Experience in business process improvement.
• Adherence to compliance, health, safety, and environment standards.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of experience in SAP Basis technical consulting, demonstrating a strong understanding of SAP system administration and support. A commitment to delivery and continuous improvement is essential for this role.
