Senior Accountant

About the Role

Dur & Benian is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing key accounting functions and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance within the organization. The role requires a professional with substantial experience in accounting practices and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and accounting adjustments, and perform monthly and annual closing activities.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, reconcile balances, and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports, support financial statement preparation, and analyze expenses and variances.
• Maintain fixed asset records, calculate depreciation, and account for accrued and prepaid expenses.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for Zakat and tax returns, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Support internal and external auditors and provide the required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures and contribute to improving accounting controls.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this Senior Accountant position should possess a strong background in accounting and financial management. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
