About KEO International Consultants

We are seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position.

The Role

This position involves leading the design, analysis, and modeling of complex structural systems for diverse projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure. The Senior Civil/Structural Engineer will ensure that all designs meet required safety, durability, and performance standards. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and providing technical support throughout various project phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients to ensure program and project requirements are satisfied.
  • Ensure the delivery of contracted Design and Construction Management services to the client.
  • Manage and direct the development and maintenance of program and project schedules for all project phases, including procurement, planning, design, and construction.
  • Lead the design, analysis, and modeling of complex structural systems for various projects, ensuring adherence to safety, durability, and performance standards.
  • Perform detailed structural calculations and simulations to ensure the safety, stability, and efficiency of designs under various load conditions (*, seismic, wind, live loads).
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to integrate structural systems with overall building designs and ensure coordination across all project aspects.
  • Offer technical support to contractors during the construction phase, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), and resolving design-related issues on-site.
  • Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs for structural work, assist in budgeting, and identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining design quality and integrity.
  • Communicate directly with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to present design proposals, address concerns, and ensure alignment on project objectives and progress.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience.
