About the Role

The Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Director - Commercial to lead and execute commercial strategies for significant projects within the entertainment and leisure sectors. This leadership position requires a strategic professional adept at managing complex commercial environments to achieve company objectives and deliver measurable results. The role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and is a full-time position.

Role Overview

In this capacity, you will be responsible for spearheading commercial operations, with a focus on maximizing value, mitigating risks, and leading contract negotiations. Collaboration with diverse teams will be essential to foster performance and optimize contract management from initiation to completion. Effective stakeholder relationship management and team guidance are critical for maintaining Qiddiya’s standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives for major projects.
• Lead negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to secure favorable commercial terms.
• Oversee contract management processes, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth.
• Foster relationships with external partners to facilitate collaboration and enhance project outcomes.
• Mentor and develop the commercial team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial management or contract negotiation, preferably within the construction or real estate sectors.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects and contracts.
