The Role: Senior Dry Utilities Engineer

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on providing technical leadership in the planning, design, and coordination of dry utilities systems for complex development projects. The role requires ensuring that utility networks are efficient, well-coordinated, and in alignment with overall project delivery plans and local authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and coordination of various dry utility systems, including power, telecommunications, district cooling, ICT, and street lighting.
• Develop comprehensive utility masterplans and ensure their integration with broader infrastructure and master planning strategies.
• Coordinate directly with relevant authorities and service providers to secure necessary approvals and ensure project compliance.
• Review and manage design deliverables provided by consultants, verifying their quality, accuracy, and constructability.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design clashes and optimize utility routing within project layouts.
• Support project planning by aligning utility design with construction sequencing and phasing schedules.
• Identify and manage technical risks associated with utilities design and implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide guidance on industry best practices, established standards, and emerging technologies in dry utilities engineering.

Technical Leadership and Project Integration

The Senior Dry Utilities Engineer will play a central role in guiding the technical aspects of utility infrastructure.
