The Role: Senior IBM BAW Developer

CodeNinja Inc. is seeking a Senior IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Developer BPMS to design, build, and support enterprise business process automation solutions. This full-time, onsite position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will involve working with a leading bank in the Kingdom. The role is offered as a 6-month extendable contract and is open to all nationalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure end-to-end business process workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) / IBM BPM.
• Model business processes using BPMN , including human tasks, coaches, business rules, and process routing.
• Integrate BAW applications with core banking systems and enterprise services via REST/SOAP web services.
• Configure and maintain process applications, toolkits, and shared services on WebSphere/Liberty environments.
• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into workflow designs.
• Perform unit testing, system integration testing, defect resolution, and performance tuning of workflow applications.
• Support UAT, deployment, and go-live activities, including environment promotion across DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and resolution for workflow-related incidents.
• Prepare and maintain technical design documents, process specifications, and deployment guides.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of experience in BPM/workflow development, with hands-on IBM BAW experience.
• Mandatory prior experience delivering BPM solutions within a bank or financial institution.
• Ability to join within a 1-month notice period, with immediate joiners preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BPMN , Process Designer, Business Process Center, and Process Portal.
• Experience with Business Rules (ODM), coaches, human services, and case management.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and REST/SOAP web service integration.
• Working knowledge of WebSphere Application Server/Liberty and relational databases (SQL).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Appian or other BPM/low-code platforms.
• Exposure to IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
• IBM BAW certification.
