About the Role

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position requiring 5-10 years of experience. The primary objective of this role is to support Tahakom’s data science and machine learning initiatives by developing, deploying, and maintaining reliable AI models and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) pipelines.

Role Objective

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will ensure that all models are reproducible, scalable, auditable, and aligned with business requirements and enterprise governance standards. This involves a focus on the entire lifecycle of machine learning models, from design and development to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models for prediction and forecasting tasks.
Prepare datasets, fine-tune computer vision models, and conduct structured evaluations for domain-specific applications.
Develop and maintain reproducible training and deployment pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.
Maintain experiment tracking, model versioning, and dataset lineage to support reproducibility and auditability.
Deploy models as reliable production services and monitor model performance and data drift.
Retrain or roll back models based on performance evidence and operational requirements.
Document model design, assumptions, evaluation results, and limitations for governance and technical review.
Collaborate with engineers, project leads, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions and communicate results clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.

This is a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a team dedicated to advancing machine learning capabilities for Tahakom.
