The Role of Senior Network Engineer

Penta Consulting is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a significant enterprise network transformation program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading complex customer engagements from design through to implementation, focusing on modern networking architectures. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, working directly with enterprise customers to design, implement, and optimize solutions that support critical business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Planning, Design, and Implementation (PDI) activities for enterprise networking projects.
• Design and deploy Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA), Cisco SD-WAN, Wireless, and Routing & Switching solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Facilitate customer workshops, discovery sessions, and technical assessments to gather business and technical requirements.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs, migration plans, implementation plans, and test documentation.
• Perform installation, configuration, integration, migration, and optimization of enterprise networking solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues during deployment and post-implementation phases.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders, project managers, architects, and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive technical discussions and provide leadership throughout project execution.
• Support customer acceptance testing and transition of services into operational support teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote Cisco best practices and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience as a networking professional.
• Deep expertise in Cisco SDA, SD-WAN, Wireless, and Routing & Switching technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex customer engagements from design through to implementation.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on a major enterprise network transformation program across the region.
