About the Role

RASF is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading project planning and scheduling activities to support the timely delivery of construction and real estate development projects. The Senior Planning Engineer will monitor progress, analyze delays, and develop recovery plans.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project baseline schedules, incorporating activities, resources, and cost considerations.
Review and assess project schedules submitted by contractors and consultants.
Monitor actual project progress against approved schedules and identify deviations.
Analyze critical paths, delays, and potential schedule risks, recommending appropriate recovery plans.
Assess the schedule impact of variation orders and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
Prepare progress reports, progress curves, dashboards, and periodic schedule updates.
Develop short-term look-ahead schedules and coordinate material and equipment delivery requirements.
Provide planning guidance and support to project teams and planning engineers.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction or real estate development sector.

Required Skills

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, delay analysis, and schedule recovery techniques.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
