Senior Project Manager

About the Role

ECEC East Consulting Engineering Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale real estate development projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates within a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and commercial acumen to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of real estate development projects, including residential, mixed-use, and commercial sectors.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, encompassing design, procurement, construction, and handover phases.
• Ensure project objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Develop and implement effective project execution strategies.
• Act as the client’s representative, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.
• Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Review and monitor consultant deliverables and contractor performance.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on project planning, execution, and risk management.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across all project phases.
• Manage communication channels between the client, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Oversee project budgets, cost control measures, and financial reporting.
• Review and approve variations, claims, and contractor payments.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, such as FIDIC or similar frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate potential commercial risks.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Drive problem-solving and decision-making processes to maintain project progress.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with project governance.

Key Deliverables

• Successful delivery of projects within established time, budget, and quality targets.
• Effective stakeholder coordination and high client satisfaction.
• Accurate reporting, robust cost control, and proactive risk management.
• Compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 20 years of experience in project management, preferably within real estate development or a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency in commercial and contract management, including FIDIC or similar contract terms.

Work Environment

This role is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic Project Management Consultancy setting. The Senior Project Manager will work with multidisciplinary teams and engage with various stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
