The Role: Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer

Almarai is seeking a Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves ensuring compliance with food regulations and standards across various business units and product categories. The officer will play a crucial role in supporting regulatory processes and evaluating new regulations within the dynamic food industry, contributing to the company's commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Ingredient & Claim Evaluation approval system.
• Conducting regulatory reviews for allocated business units.
• Reviewing Regulatory Affairs processes and procedures.
• Creating Gap assessments for new or draft food regulations against Almarai products.
• Ensuring notification of changes to key Food Regulations, standards, and Circulars.
• Providing support to TRD, Nutrition, and Marketing for regulatory review of product formulations and claims.
• Managing food registration processes within SFDA and Dubai Municipality.
• Undertaking specific research project work as determined.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Nutrition.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within Almarai's extensive food and beverage manufacturing environment, contributing to regulatory compliance across its diverse product portfolio.
