Role Overview

Worley, a global leader in energy, chemicals, and resources headquartered in Australia, partners with customers to deliver projects and create value across asset lifecycles. Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support clients in navigating complexity and transitioning to sustainable solutions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architecture Consultant Buildings to join our Master Planning & Facilities team within Worley Consulting. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requires daily attendance to engage with project and sales teams, lead client interfaces, and maintain key client relationships. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading projects to successful outcomes while supporting networking and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute as an intrinsic part of the architectural leadership team, supporting practice growth and delivery.
• Proactively network, identify new opportunities, and engage with potential clients, supported by the wider EMEA Architecture and Master planning team.
• Lead the coordination of sales efforts, including responding to RFPs and developing competitive bid proposals.
• Communicate effectively with existing and new clients, design teams, internal Worley colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Apply creative, responsive design thinking and a solutions-based approach to all work.
• Prioritize and plan work, track progress, and monitor targets to ensure timely delivery of architectural projects.
• Nurture client relationships by understanding needs and developing tailored architectural solutions.
• Fulfill the requirements of an Architect of Record.
• Possess and apply knowledge of KSA local technical codes and regulations.
• Identify and propose solutions that positively impact master plans or building projects.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and effectively lead and mentor a team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Several years of professional architectural experience.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting feasibility studies, early optioneering, and establishing site capacity.
• Proven ability to lead and oversee architectural projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality design, adherence to sustainability principles, and compliance with local rules and regulations.
• Experience across all stages of an architectural project, from pre-concept/Pre FEED to Concept/FEED, detailed design, and IFC.
• Effective client relationship management and project management skills, meeting objectives, timelines, and budget requirements.
• Experience in coordinating design groups and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrable experience in concept design, conceptual brainstorming, or architecture competitions.
• Experience in business development and the ability to develop and nurture new client relationships.
• Exceptional presentation skills, effectively using media to suit the audience and project.
• Knowledge and understanding of innovative practices, particularly related to AI and software use for continuous improvement.
• Experience in industrial architecture or environments is welcomed.

Technical Skills

• Strong technical and practical architectural skills.
• Proficiency in relevant architectural software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficiency in CAD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Developing skills in architectural engineering-specific software.
• Quick sketch skills (handmade and 3D models).
• Strong graphic communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI-driven data analysis to enhance architectural design efficiency and innovation.
• Proficiency in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
