Mohammad Al Habib Real Estate, a family-owned and privately held company founded in 1972, specializes in real estate investments, developments, and master plans. The company focuses on scouting land for urban projects, managing construction details with contractors, and designing commercial and residential communities that add value to their surroundings. This full-time position for a Senior Technical Architecture Engineer is with its subsidiary, Asalah Residence Company, located in Riyadh.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Senior Technical Architecture Engineer will join the Technical Office team to support the successful delivery of high-rise building projects. This role focuses on design development, Issued for Construction (IFC) documentation, multidisciplinary coordination, and providing technical support during the construction phase. The primary objective is to ensure all architectural outputs are fully coordinated, compliant with project specifications and local codes, and readily buildable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review Design Development and Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings, ensuring full coordination with structural and MEP systems.
• Prepare detailed plans, sections, elevations, and architectural details for elements such as facades, wet areas, podiums, and cores.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP engineers, and façade consultants to identify and resolve design clashes and inconsistencies.
• Participate in coordination meetings and technical workshops to facilitate project progress.
• Review contractor shop drawings for compliance with IFC drawings, constructability, and design intent, along with material submissions, technical data sheets, and mock-ups.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractors, issue technical clarifications, and provide revised drawings when necessary.
• Provide solutions for construction-related technical issues that arise on site.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC), Civil Defense (Fire & Life Safety) regulations, and Municipality requirements, supporting submission and approval processes.
• Work within a BIM environment, ensuring proper documentation control, version tracking, and supporting clash detection processes.

High-Rise Project Specifics

• Manage vertical tower coordination, including cores, shafts, and stacking.
• Oversee the integration of podium and tower structures.
• Detail façade systems, such as curtain walls and various cladding systems.
• Contribute to fire and life safety planning, including egress strategies and compartmentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in architectural roles.
• Demonstrated experience in high-rise buildings, preferably those with 20 or more floors.
• Previous experience in Technical Office or Design Office roles.
• Experience in consultancy or large-scale projects is preferred.
