This full-time role involves overseeing and executing comprehensive testing, inspection, and commissioning activities for large-scale projects, ensuring all systems meet design specifications and applicable standards.

Project Context: Riyadh Heritage Development

The successful candidate will contribute to a prestigious heritage project in Riyadh, a key initiative under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. This development targets Gold LEED certification and features mixed-use buildings, academies, a traditional Najdi-style local mosque, a digital art museum, and a unique mud-brick cinema with underground parking. The project integrates state-of-the-art facilities with traditional design elements, emphasizing cultural authenticity and modern sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing and commissioning (T&C) activities for MEP systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning schedules in alignment with project timelines.
• Plan and execute pre-commissioning and functional testing for mechanical, electrical, and ELV systems, including HVAC, firefighting, and BMS integration.
• Supervise site commissioning teams and coordinate with contractors and clients.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC) and local Saudi regulations.
• Support project handover, including documentation, client training, and snag resolution.
• Act as the technical point of contact for commissioning-related queries.
• Review method statements, test procedures, and commissioning documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning phases.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Lead the testing of complex Electro-mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to project requirements, design specifications, and LEED sustainability standards.
• Foster effective communication with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders, maintaining transparency on project progress and aligning with PMC and Client vision.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in testing and commissioning, specifically within MEP systems.
• Strong technical expertise and hands-on commissioning experience.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with applicable Saudi standards and international standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and IEC.
