About the Role

Four Points is seeking a Shift Leader - Food & Bev Service to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and focuses on ensuring optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction within the food and beverage operations.

Position Summary

The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure staff collaboration and meet guest needs effectively. This includes managing opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness standards, and monitoring dining areas for service quality and guest well-being. The role also involves supporting management in various employee-related functions and upholding company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure team collaboration for optimum service and guest satisfaction.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.
• Submit work orders for maintenance repairs and contact directly for urgent issues.
• Report employee, guest, and vendor incidents/accidents to management and Loss Prevention.
• Communicate pertinent information to managers/supervisors through documentation.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model for staff.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and complete required training.
• Ensure professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome guests according to standards, anticipate needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and develop positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Visual inspection of tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
