The Role of Site Civil Engineer

Dar wa Emaar is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join its full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position is integral to the successful planning, design, and execution of residential real estate development projects, ensuring all civil engineering aspects are managed effectively on-site.

Position Overview and Impact

The Site Civil Engineer will oversee on-site civil engineering activities, ensuring strict compliance with approved plans, local regulations, and project specifications. This role involves significant coordination with contractors and consultants, playing a key part in supporting project delivery from initial land development stages through to vertical construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure site work adheres to approved civil drawings, local building codes, environmental regulations, and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues related to earthworks, utilities, drainage, and foundations.
• Work closely with general contractors, subcontractors, surveyors, and municipal inspectors to maintain project progress and quality.
• Communicate site progress, risks, and solutions to project managers and development leadership.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports, site logs, redline drawings, and as-built documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 years of professional experience in civil engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in residential subdivisions, infrastructure development, and site work management is highly valued.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a significant on-site presence and active engagement with project teams and external partners to ensure project success.
