About the Role

First Gulf Company is seeking an experienced Soft Services Manager to oversee essential support services within a hospital environment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in managing soft services, particularly in healthcare settings.

Role Overview

The Soft Services Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of housekeeping, waste management, and linen services. The position involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and ensuring compliance with stringent healthcare standards and protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of housekeeping, waste management, and linen services within the hospital.
• Plan and forecast manpower requirements, and develop staff schedules.
• Conduct regular quality audits and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service excellence.
• Coordinate effectively with the hospital's Infection Control Committee.
• Provide training and supervision to staff members.
• Ensure strict compliance with hospital standards and infection-prevention protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or Health Sciences.
• Certification in infection control or housekeeping management is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in soft services management.
• Demonstrated experience managing housekeeping or environmental services specifically within hospital settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of infection-prevention cleaning protocols, medical-waste handling regulations, and CBAHI / JCI Environment-of-Care standards.
