The Role: Specialist, Media Relations

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Specialist, Media Relations to join its communications team. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is essential for managing relationships with media outlets and coordinating communication activities. The Specialist will support the dissemination of Qiddiya's key messages to the public through various channels, thereby enhancing the company's brand reputation and visibility in the market.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media representatives, journalists, and influencers to secure positive media coverage.
Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and events to effectively communicate Qiddiya's initiatives and updates.
Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to ensure consistent and clear messaging.
Monitor media coverage and prepare reports analyzing media sentiment and outreach effectiveness.
Respond promptly to media inquiries, providing accurate and timely information aligned with company policies.
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, digital, and corporate communications to align media strategies with overall communication objectives.
Support crisis communication efforts as needed, working closely with relevant stakeholders to manage messaging.
Stay updated on media trends and best practices to maximize outreach and engagement opportunities.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of experience in media relations or a related communications field. The position requires a proactive and skilled professional capable of building strong relationships with media representatives and effectively managing communication strategies.
