Store Manager Carrefour

About the Role

MAJID AL FUTTAIM is seeking a Store Manager - Carrefour for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is responsible for overseeing the assigned supermarket's operations to ensure maximum sales, profitability, and optimal stock management. The Store Manager will also focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and driving continuous business growth.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure seamless service delivery within the supermarket and to implement action plans for operational improvement. The role holder will be instrumental in achieving commercial performance targets and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement MAF Retail’s supermarket plans in alignment with strategies and procedures, collaborating with Head Office and Corporate Office.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate commercial performance and recommend actions to increase profitability and sales turnover.
• Maximize sales and profitability by managing costs within established budgetary guidelines.
• Review and analyze stock and sales reports, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
• Initiate and ensure the application of comparative studies between departments to enhance commercial performance efficiency.
• Coordinate regularly with Department Heads to ensure effective stock management, including stock value, out-of-stock situations, orders, and timely merchandise deliveries.
• Supervise the ongoing service and maintenance of the supermarket’s assets.
• Oversee the enhancement of hygiene standards and the supermarket's safety and security protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience is required.
• Experience in Retail is mandatory.
• Must possess strong people and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.

Location

This position is based in Riyadh. Candidates not currently residing in Riyadh must be willing to relocate to the city.
