About the Storekeeper Role at Nestlé

Nestlé is seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to manage warehouse operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and integrity of material flow within the facility, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.

Purpose of the Position

The Storekeeper is responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, encompassing shipping, receiving, and meticulous monitoring of stock levels, quality status, and any related issues. This role also involves comprehensive documentation of all warehouse transactions to ensure accuracy and traceability.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with material handling processes by thoroughly checking and verifying documents and the condition of all newly received materials at the warehouse.
• Coordinate the daily receipt of new materials with relevant stakeholders, utilizing a database to track raw materials in the warehouse and within the ERP system against receiving orders.
• Accurately record all raw materials in the ERP system, tag them with barcodes for efficient scanning, and arrange materials systematically within the warehouse.
• Manage all quantities of raw materials demanded by the production department, applying established inventory management techniques such as FIFO, LIFO, PAR LEVELS, and Average Cost, as per issuance orders in the ERP system.
• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse, raw materials, and equipment to ensure adequate storage space and that all materials consistently meet Nestlé's standard conditions.
• Perform monthly quantity checks of raw materials using inventory control management methods to assess the stock balance in the warehouse and reconcile it with the ERP system balance.
• Adhere to Nestlé's SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) rules and procedures at all times during working hours to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse management or a similar storekeeping capacity. Proficiency in inventory management techniques and ERP systems is essential for success in this position.

Operational Standards and Compliance

The Storekeeper must uphold Nestlé's stringent quality and safety standards across all operations. This includes ensuring material conditions meet company specifications and consistently following all Safety, Health, and Environment protocols.
