About the Role

Visa (KSA) is seeking a Vice President & Chief Financial Officer to serve as the strategic finance leader for the KBO region, based in Riyadh. This full-time role acts as a trusted advisor to the Group Country Manager, KBO, and is a key member of both the KBO leadership team and CEMEA Finance leadership. The position is accountable for setting the financial direction of the business, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring strong financial governance within a dynamic and evolving market environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Shape and drive the financial strategy for the KBO region, ensuring alignment with broader regional and global priorities.
• Advise the Group Country Manager and leadership team on growth initiatives, investment decisions, and performance optimization.
• Influence strategic choices through data-driven insights and forward-looking financial analysis.
• Represent Finance in executive forums, contributing to regional strategy and decision-making processes.
• Lead the end-to-end financial planning cycle, including the annual operating plan, forecasts, and long-range planning.
• Drive financial performance by setting clear targets, rigorous tracking, and proactive identification of risks and opportunities.
• Ensure high-quality executive reporting and provide insights to support timely and effective decision-making.
• Embed financial discipline across revenue streams, client incentives, and operating expenses.

Financial Governance and Operational Excellence

• Partner with regional and global teams on pricing, interchange, and commercial strategies to maximize revenue growth.
• Provide robust financial evaluation for strategic initiatives, investments, and partnership opportunities.
• Balance short-term financial performance with long-term value creation objectives.
• Ensure robust financial governance, controls, and compliance with both internal and external requirements.
• Continuously enhance financial processes, tools, and data integrity to enable scalability and efficiency.
• Drive transparency, accountability, and consistency in financial management across the region.

Leadership and Team Development

• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
• Build organizational capability in financial planning, analytics, and business partnering.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders across various geographies within a matrixed organizational structure.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Over 15 years of experience in a relevant financial leadership role.
• Demonstrated strategic mindset with the ability to link financial insights directly to business outcomes.
• Strong external orientation, including awareness of macroeconomic, regulatory, and competitive dynamics.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced, and matrixed environment.
• Capability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across various functions.
• A balanced approach combining commercial acumen with robust financial discipline.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a minimum of three days in the office per week, with specific expectations to be confirmed by the Hiring Manager.
