About the Role

W Hotels is seeking a Wash Attendant (Laundry Attendant) to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the efficient and safe operation of laundry machinery and the meticulous handling of linen items.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
Identify stained or damaged items and determine appropriate action for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
Inspect the cleanliness of articles removed from machines and place them in clean linen carts.
Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabric types.
Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain traps after each load.
Fold cleaned articles to designated sizes, either by hand or using a folding machine.
Maintain accurate records of laundered items.

Workplace Conduct and Safety

Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
Complete all required safety training and certifications.
Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
