About the Role

Alfalak Electronic Equipment & Supplies Co. is seeking a Safety Engineer to join their team in Dhahran, Eastern region. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring a safe and compliant workplace through robust safety, health, and environmental programs.

Role Overview

The Safety Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive safety, health, and environmental (SHE) programs. This role ensures adherence to applicable standards, regulations, and company requirements, actively supporting safety initiatives, conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, and fostering a strong safety culture across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives in alignment with company requirements and applicable regulations.
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification activities to proactively identify and control potential risks.
• Monitor compliance with SHE requirements and provide recommendations for effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, preparing detailed reports that include appropriate corrective actions.
• Support the implementation of emergency preparedness and response procedures, including the coordination of drills and emergency response activities.

Required Qualifications

• A University Degree in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) or a University Degree in any Science discipline combined with a NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) within the Transportation, Manufacturing, or Construction industry.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, risk management methodologies, and effective workplace safety practices.
• Good understanding of applicable safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental requirements.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
