About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking an Emergency Nurse 3 to join our team in Dhahran. This full-time position is central to providing advanced-level nursing care within the assigned emergency unit, supporting critical operational processes, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Emergency Nurse 3 plays a vital role in enhancing nursing practices and ensuring efficient care delivery. This includes contributing to strategic initiatives, developing protocols for patient safety and operational efficiency, and fostering high staff engagement and patient experience. The role also supports the empowerment of nurses through the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model, aiming to achieve and sustain high quality of care and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care services, with a focus on complex cases.
• Assist in managing workflow, ensuring proper resource utilization within the unit.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care from admission through discharge, specific to the patient's age.
• Provide nursing care and patient/family education consistent with the plan of care and patient needs, respecting privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations using clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices.
• Perform a wide range of nursing procedures in assigned Emergency facilities with attention to accuracy, patient safety, and comfort, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Mentorship and Professional Development

• Mentor intermediate-level and junior nurses, providing guidance and support.
• Precept new hires and trainees during their probation training period, participating in recommendations regarding progress and training needs.
• Achieve and/or maintain the mandated activities for Level 3 within the Clinical Advancement Program, requiring a minimum total of 20 points in at least four categories within each 12-month cycle.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in emergency nursing or a similar advanced-level nursing role.
