SRG is seeking a Traffic Engineering Specialist with a strong Civil Engineering background to join their team. This full-time position, based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, involves working directly with Saudi Aramco on critical traffic and transportation safety initiatives. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with company representatives and government authorities to address traffic and transportation safety improvements within the Eastern Province.
• Act as a technical lead for various traffic safety engineering tasks, overseeing work carried out by subordinate members of the engineering group and providing support and guidance.
• Review and assist in developing scope-of-works for company projects and studies, including Road Safety audits, Traffic Impact studies, and Temporary Traffic Management plans.
• Provide technical support to various internal and external entities to improve traffic mobility and traffic safety.
• Review and provide initial inputs on the design and specifications of existing or proposed roadway schemes within and around company facilities, utilizing applicable industry standards and guidelines.
• Prepare professional letters, meeting notes, working papers, technical notes, reports, and technical presentations.
• Enhance the technical capacity of the Traffic Safety Services Department's Engineering group staff by establishing proper training and developing efficient processes for knowledge sharing and transfer.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a major in Transportation Planning & Traffic Engineering.
• Experience Level: Minimum of 10 years of experience, primarily focused on Transportation Planning, Traffic Engineering, and Traffic Safety.
• Certification Requirement: Professionally certified and licensed (*, PE, PTOE, PTP, RoSPA, or RSP).

Essential Skills and Technical Proficiency

• Familiarity with international standards such as AASHTO-Green Book, HCM, HSM, MUTCD, and related ITE & FHWA guidelines.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for developing high-quality deliverables in the form of reports and specifications.
• Technical proficiency in Highway Design, Transportation Planning, and Traffic Safety Studies.

Compensation

This full-time position offers a competitive basic salary complemented by an overbase package.
