About the Role

KUWAIT STEEL is seeking a Coordinator I - Logistics to join our team in Al Qatif. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing essential support to transport and dispatch operations. The role focuses on coordinating daily material movements and ensuring efficient logistical processes within the company's framework.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate the smooth execution of rebar dispatch, internal material transfers, and the utilization of hired equipment. The Coordinator I ensures that all activities align with established operational instructions and approved procedures, contributing directly to the efficiency and accuracy of logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support transport and dispatch operations by coordinating daily material movements.
• Monitor the execution of tasks performed by contractors.
• Maintain accurate records related to dispatch and equipment.
• Assist with the coordination of routine dispatch, transport, and equipment activities in accordance with approved instructions and schedules.
• Check contractor performance and validate associated documentation.
• Record operational data as required.

Reporting Structure and Authority

The Coordinator I - Logistics operates under the direct supervision of the Department Head. While authorized to assist with routine coordination, this role does not hold authority to approve transport contracts, modify dispatch plans, negotiate rates, or authorize payments. Any operational deviations, contractor disputes, cost discrepancies, or non-routine issues must be escalated to the Department Head for decision and resolution.

Required Experience

• Experience: 0-1 years of relevant experience in logistics or a related operational field.
