LP ESG Operator Asst I L&P

About the Role

Halliburton is seeking an LP01-ESG-Operator Asst I-L&P to join our team in Al Qatif or Al Khobar. This full-time entry-level position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are looking to develop a career in the global energy industry. The role involves assisting with well logging operations and learning essential oilfield procedures under strict supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the rigging-up and rigging-down of surface and downhole well logging equipment at work locations to record subsurface geologic formation data.
• Learn fundamental oil well operations, including identifying rig types, drill string components, Blow Out Prevention (BOP) procedures, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines.
• Support the operation of well logging equipment at job sites.
• Learn to assemble various downhole well logging tools, such as electric, nuclear, and sonic tools.
• Perform maintenance, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on both downhole and surface well logging equipment.
• Assist with pre and post-job vehicle and equipment inspections, including associated paperwork and reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Successful completion of high school or equivalent education.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Effective communication skills are necessary given the nature of oilfield service work.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required in certain locations.
• Successful completion of a Well Control Accreditation Program may be required in some locations.
• Successful completion of water survival training may be required.

Safety and Compliance

The successful candidate will promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines is mandatory. This role also involves actively participating in quality improvement processes.
