Project Coordinator

About the Role

Halliburton is seeking a Project Coordinator for a full-time position in Al Qatif and Al Khobar. This role is designed for individuals who are driven to innovate, achieve, grow, and lead within the global energy industry. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing projects that require activity coordination for single to multiple rig projects, with a focus on efficiency and performance.

Project Coordination and Scope

The Project Coordinator will primarily handle projects with a limited risk profile, typically those without inter-Product Service Line (PSL) dependency, performance-based contracts, or extensive non-core third-party services. This position may also involve collaborating with a senior project manager on larger, more complex integrated projects, offering opportunities for learning and shared responsibilities. The role requires extensive coordination and management across various service lines and limited non-core third parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regularly scheduled meetings to review performance indicators and implement management systems to enhance efficiency.
• Actively participate in and lead operational problem-solving during execution, including investigations of Service Quality (SQ) events.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate projects for three or more Product Service Lines (PSLs) in adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Champion Halliburton's and the Customer's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Verify that equipment received at the well site meets documented specifications and requirements.
• Ensure all third-party rental/purchase equipment has current inspection and testing documentation.
• Lead internal pre-project execution exercises (Drilling Well On Paper / Completing Well On Paper) and post-project review/close-out meetings.
• Participate in regularly scheduled project safety meetings and Business/Operations Performance Reviews.
• Conduct performance reviews in accordance with established PSL and Project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain detailed records of Daily Operations Reports in OpenWells, focusing on productive times and Non-Productive Time (NPT) classification.
• Ensure all Halliburton personnel work with the latest version of project procedures and expectations.
• Evaluate PSL operational performance and the applicability of technology offerings.
• Manage the project Performance Optimization Plan.
• Resolve all cross-PSL issues with the customer prior to final invoicing and report processing.
• Document and communicate lessons learned to the District and Project Leadership Team.
• Maintain a positive attitude, professionalism, discretion, and excellent communication skills, working effectively with diverse individuals across the organization.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and client interface capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a suitable STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) field.
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• At least 2 years of full-time experience in the oil and gas industry.

Compensation for this role is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
