Sales Associate

Role Overview

Apparel Group is seeking a Sales Associate for a full-time position in Al Madinah, Medina. This role is central to representing the brand, maximizing sales, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience within the store. The Sales Associate also contributes to maintaining operational standards and visual presentation.

Customer Service and Sales Engagement

• Greet customers and provide assistance in product selection.
• Engage with customers to convert browsing into purchases.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat sales.
• Deliver customer service according to company guidelines, including the GUEST selling approach (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the group's various brands for effective suggestive selling.

Store Operations and Merchandising Standards

• Ensure all stock is displayed attractively and in accordance with standard layout norms and visual merchandising (VM) guidelines.
• Maintain stock norms for clearance items.
• Record inventory movements (inward/outward) and maintain accurate reports.
• Perform various operational duties, including store maintenance, as assigned by management.

Point of Sale and Process Adherence

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) / Billing Counter efficiently.
• Tally cash in the till at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Accurately issue receipts, process refunds, and provide change to customers.
• Process payments via cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
• Maintain constant awareness and vigilance regarding store security, adhering to SOP and Loss Prevention Policies.
• Ensure confidentiality of sales figures.

Candidate Profile

• Maintain a presentable and well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours during sale periods and varied shifts, including overtime, as business requirements dictate.
• Possess up-to-date product knowledge to assist customers effectively and minimize stock loss.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should have 0-1 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment. This full-time position is suitable for individuals seeking to develop their career in sales and retail operations.
