About the Role: In-Room Dining Coordinator
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a full-time Coordinator, In-Room Dining to join our team in An Nu'ayriyah, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to managing information flow, reservations, and guest inquiries within our in-room dining service. The ideal candidate will have 0-1 years of experience and be proficient in using computer databases and standard office equipment to maintain accurate records and support operational efficiency.
Core Administrative Responsibilities
- Enter and retrieve information from computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, and reservations.
- Transmit information or documents via computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
- Operate standard office equipment effectively.
- Prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including date stamping and distribution.
- Create and maintain computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports, and documents.
- Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
Guest Service and Professional Standards
- Answer guest inquiries and telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team to reach common goals.
- Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Qualifications and Physical Requirements
- 0-1 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in using computer databases, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and point of sale systems.
- Strong communication skills for professional interactions and telephone etiquette.
- Capability to prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
