The Opportunity: Public Area Attendant

Raffles The Red Sea is seeking a Public Area Attendant to join its team in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining the pristine condition and luxurious presentation of all public spaces within the resort. The position requires a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service, particularly during the pre-opening phase of the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, lounges, corridors, elevators, restrooms, restaurants, and meeting rooms, ensuring immaculate presentation of surfaces, furnishings, and decorative elements.
• Continuously monitor public areas and proactively address any cleanliness or presentation issues.
• Ensure public restroom amenities are fully stocked, fresh, and impeccably arranged.
• Greet guests politely and professionally, offering assistance when appropriate while maintaining a discreet presence.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests related to cleanliness or minor assistance.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisors to address urgent cleaning needs or special setups.
• Uphold Raffles' grooming, hygiene, and workplace conduct standards at all times.
• Follow approved cleaning procedures, chemical usage guidelines, and equipment handling protocols.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately.
• Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning, and event-related setups as assigned.
• Support Housekeeping and other departments during peak periods or special occasions.
• Handle lost and found items in accordance with hotel procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience (0-1 year) in Housekeeping or Public Area cleaning within a luxury or five-star hotel environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic training in cleaning techniques and equipment usage is an advantage.
• Experience in pre-opening stages is a mandatory requirement.
