About SLS The Red Sea

SLS The Red Sea, part of Ennismore’s lifestyle portfolio, is a resort located on the Red Sea coast in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The property features 150 keys, five Food & Beverage venues, and a spa. The resort focuses on providing a blend of hospitality experiences for guests.

The Role of Recreation Manager

As Recreation Manager, you will lead the resort’s recreation offerings, encompassing the Kids & Teens Club, pool and beach areas, fitness and gym facilities, sports courts, and overall recreational programming. This full-time role involves developing engaging experiences for various age groups while ensuring operational safety and adherence to SLS standards. The position is based in Umluj, Tabuk, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the entire Recreation operation, including the Kids & Teens Club, pool and beach recreation, fitness and gym areas, sports courts, and resort activities.
Develop and implement daily, weekly, and seasonal recreation calendars that include sports, fitness, leisure, cultural, family, and lifestyle experiences.
Manage Kids & Teens Club programming, ensuring activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and comply with safeguarding and safety standards.
Create programming for pool, beach, fitness, and sports, introducing new concepts that align with the destination and the SLS brand.
Lead, schedule, train, and develop the Recreation team to ensure guest engagement, appropriate staffing, and high service standards.
Maintain a presence in recreation areas, interact with guests, monitor participation, and use feedback for continuous improvement.
Ensure all recreation facilities, activity spaces, and equipment are safe, clean, properly maintained, and ready for operation.
Establish and maintain health, safety, child safeguarding, emergency, and risk-management procedures for all recreation activities.
Plan and coordinate special events, tournaments, themed activities, holiday programs, and family experiences in collaboration with other departments.
Partner with Marketing and operational teams to integrate recreation programming into the overall guest experience.
Manage departmental staffing, expenses, equipment, inventory, and purchasing within operational requirements and budgets.
Coordinate external instructors, suppliers, and third-party activity providers, ensuring compliance with service, safety, and brand standards.
Maintain accurate schedules, participation records, inspections, incident reports, training records, and departmental documentation.
Ensure compliance with SLS standards, hotel policies, and applicable health, safety, security, and local regulatory requirements.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant recreation management role.

This is a full-time position located at SLS The Red Sea in Umluj, Tabuk. The role involves leading a team within a resort setting that emphasizes guest experiences and service standards.
